INTEGRATED SECURITY SYSTEM PACKAGE FOR NTPC DADRI, KUDGI,
KOLDAM, KAWAS, AND VSTPP
Salient technical features for work of Integrated security system package for Dadri, Kudgi, Koldam,
Kawas, and Vindhyachal power stations is as follows:
An integrated security system based on the concept of “Deter, Detect and Delay” with multiple layers of
security comprising of the following elements is envisaged:
a) CCTV System including Fixed Cameras, PTZ Cameras, Illuminator, CCTV Video Management
Software, Video Analytics Software, Face recognition etc. with cameras at perimeter, watch towers
and other static locations.
b) PIDS ( Perimeter Intrusion Detection System) based on OFC in both fence mounted as well as
buried application along with Radar based perimeter surveillance system for perimeter intrusion
alerts
c) Access Control System (ACS): with pre-built zones, entry & exit through smart cards and/or
Biometric (Touch based as well as Touchless) & including Under Vehicle Scanning System
(UVSS), Boom Barriers, Turnstiles ,Smart Card Readers, Biometric Readers, Controllers, Door
Locks, Bollards, Crash Barrier/Anti-Terror Barrier, Spike Barrier, Flap Barrier, Automatic Number
Plate Recognition, DFMD (Door Frame Metal Detector), Biometric Enrolment Unit, Smart Card
Enrolment Unit, Visitor Management System, Egress Switch, Long Range RFID system with
readers & stickers for vehicular entry, Portable X-ray Baggage Scanner, Geo-fencing etc.
d) Physical security equipment like turnstiles, boom barrier, bollards, RFID tag based Vehicle entry,
e) Automatic number plate recognition system
(ANPR) and Under Vehicle scanning system (UVSS)
for scanning the vehicles for any explosives.
f) GPS enabling of QRT vehicles & fire vehicles.
g) Guard Tour Monitoring System
h) Real time location System
i) Thermal cameras for long distance night time monitoring
j) Material movement of high value items through RFID tags
k) Command & Control Centre Software for seamless integration of above systems at Security
Operation Centre ( SOC) and its interface with Central Security Operation Centre (CSOC)
l) LED Panels (80 inches in size in 3X1 configuration with suitable mounting arrangements/stand
and other associated accessories
