Subject: Rate contract of providing vehicles on “as and when required basis” for the
officials and guests of NTPC at Bhubaneswar”
Eastern Region Head Quarters –II office ( ERHQ-II) of NTPC Ltd, is presently operating at a Building i.e
PLOT NO: N/17/2,ORISSA LIFT IRRIGATION BHAWAN(OLIC BUILDING) ,3RD , 4TH & 5
TH
FLOOR,UNIT-8, BHUBANESWAR-751012, ORISSA. ERHQ-II is the regional office for NTPC other
stations/projects in eastern region i.e Talcher Super Thermal Power Station (TSTPS) , Talcher Thermal
Power Station (TTPS), , Bongaigaon thermal Power Project (BgTPP) & Darlipalli Super Thermal Power
Project (DSTPP).
NTPC for its ERHQ-II Bhubaneswar office intends to enter into rate contract for a period of 02 years for
hiring of vehicles for occasional requirement i.e. on as and when requirement basis. Details of vehicles
proposed for hiring are as detailed below :-
1.1 On as and when requirements basic vehicles in good running condition and manufacture model
should be of 2017 or later .The requirement of vehicles will be in the following categories.
a) Categories-I - AC Maruti Swift Dzire, Hyundai Accent, Logan, Ford Icon, Indigo ,Amaze ,
Zest or equivalent.
b) Categories-II - AC Maruti SX4, Ford Fiesta, Honda City, Innova , Ciaz , Optra , Verna ,
Xylo , Safari , Duster, Ford Ecosport , Sunny type cars or equivalent.
c) Categories - III - Toyata Fortuner , Toyota Corolla Altis, AC-Honda Civic, Skoda or
equivalent
1.2 All Vehicles proposed to be placed on hire shall have commercial permit & shall ply in the State of
Orissa.
1.3 EIC reserve the right to decide the equivalent of vehicle in respective categories.
1.4 If an agency desires to deploy a higher version of vehicle against lower categories, he may do so at the
rate of lower category.
