FARAKKA STPS ST-II (2X500MW)
SUBMERSIBLE PUMPS PACKAGE
The scope includes Design, Engineering, Manufacture, Supply, Construction, Erection, Testing &
Commissioning works of Intake water pumps system for Submersible pumps package and its
associated equipment’s for Farakka STPS -II (2 X 500 MW).
The Technical features of the Intake water pumps system as follows:-
a) Type of Intake water pumps Barge mounted Horizontal centrifugal
Pumps.
OR
Barge/ Floor mounted Submersible
Pumps.
b) Number of Intake water pumps Required no’s (Including Spare) to meet
Total flow requirement- 1, 38,000 m3/hr.
c) Capacity of Intake water pumps 4000 cum/hr to 6000 cum/hr.
d) Head of Intake water pumps To be assessed by the bidder.
e) Floating Barge /Pontoon One no Diesel Engine driven.
Required no’s of stationary Barge
/Pontoon (if applicable).
