Deployment of a non-AC mini bus with 26 seater capacity on 24 hours basis for 24 months
for Railway Station Duty at NTPC Solapur

No.: Tender Reference No.: NTPC/Solapur STPP/99001665025 Dated.11.10.2018 are
mentioned below. These Salient Technical Features are mentioned only to facilitate the
prospective bidders to prima-facie understand the requirements under the tender and shall not
in any way limit or alter the scope of work and technical features / specification of equipment /
systems / services covered in the Bidding Documents. Detailed provisions in regard of scope of
work and technical features / specification of equipment / systems / services, contained in the
Bidding Documents shall be final and binding."
BRIEF SCOPE OF WORK:
The brief scope of work for the subject package is as under:
“1.VEHICLE REQUIRED: A 2017 or later Model, non-A.C 26 seater ( MINI BUS) diesel
bus with first registration not before 2017 shall be deployed for duty. Vehicle to be deployed
by the contractor for full month with fuel, two drivers and two helpers. Vehicle deployed
shall be in good condition with neat and clean interior upholstery and fixed with good seat
covers, suitable for comfortable journey.
1A) The vehicle shall be registered in the name of the vendor himself/herself or operate
the same with a valid power of authority from the original owner.
1B) Make of vehicle: Vehicle will be of a reputed make and shall have sitting capacity of
minimum 26 seats.
1C) Year of Manufacture & first Registration: January 2017 or later.
1D) Seating capacity minimum– 26 (sitting capacity as certified by MV Regn Authority
excluding the seats in the front).
1E) Only new tyres are to be used
1F) The windows shall be provided with grill to prevent children from injuries to hands,
face/head or even possible fall from the bus.
1G) The bus will be used for dropping & picking employees & their relatives/ guests
from township to station and back. Hence the vehicle shall comply with all
directives/guidelines envisaged for deployment for the said purpose by RTO.
1H) The vehicle shall have necessary ‘permit’ to ply from NTPC Siddheswar Vidyut Nagar
to Solapur town and if necessary to outstation also.”
