BRIEF SCOPE AND TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS OF “Procurement of PPC Cement

for Main Plant Civil Works of NTPC Solapur STPP – 10,000 MT and Enlistment of

vendors for Procurement of PPC Cement (Grade 43) at NTPC Solapur STPP for a

period of Three (03) years”

PP Cement conforming to IS 1489 Part - I and having minimum compressive strength (28 days) of 43

MPa

Quantity: 10,000 MT

Freight: The material is to be supplied directly to NTPC Ltd, Solapur STPP stores. The bidders are

requested to include in their quote freight, unloading and stacking (at NTPC site) charges.

Delivery Schedule: Nine (09) months from the date of purchase order as per requirement of NTPC Ltd.

Payment Terms: 100% within 30 days of receipt and acceptance of cement at site and all relevant

documents.

Inspection and Acceptance: Inspection shall be done at NTPC site, co-related test certificates has to

be furnished for each batch of cement supplied. 28 days compressive strength should be 43MPa at

the minimum.

Sample of each batch / lot of supply will be tested by NTPC Ltd for Compressive strength and setting

time for final acceptance of cement.

Reverse Auction is applicable for this tender

The bidders qualifying for opening of price bids in the subject tender shall also be enlisted for

a period of Three (03) years for “Procurement of PPC (Grade 43) Cement at NTPC Solapur

STPP”
