Civil works from 0m to 64 m of TP8 & TP9 at NTPC- Solapur.

These Salient Technical Features are mentioned only to facilitate the prospective bidders to prima-facie understand the requirements under the tender and shall not in any way limit or alter the scope of work and technical features / specification of equipment / systems / services covered in the Bidding Documents. Detailed provisions in regard of scope of work and technical features / specification of equipment / systems / services, contained in the Bidding Documents shall be final and binding."

BRIEF SCOPE OF WORK:

The brief scope of work for the subject package is as under:

a.Work shall be done as per the intent of specification / scope of work attached as Annexure- A. However the broad scope is as follows:

b.Shifting, Fixing of the metal deck sheets supplied by NTPC for various floors of TP-8 and TP-9 with necessary overlaps, screws, Fixing of headed shear studs in metal deck sheets at TP floors as per specifications with all materials , tools and tackles & manpower and equipment, cutting of deck sheet at required locations with all labor, lifting arrangements, supervision, executing the work as per the drawing issued , following safe practices, safety arrangements for all working personnel. Returning the balance material to NTPC.

c.Floors in TP-08 are at 0m, 48.95m, 56.45m and 64.45m elevation. Floors in Tp-09 are at 0m, 7.45m, 10.95m,16.402m, 48.95m, 56.45m and 64.45m elevation.

d.Transporting, lifting , binding, bending and Placing in position ,reinforcement steel and structural steel(ms angles in edges, insert plates) in floors with all tools, labor, safe lifting arrangements , necessary safety precautions etc.

e.Transportation of owner issue materials like cement, steel and structural steel from NTPC Stores to site shall be in scope of agency. OIM shall be issued free of cost, however agency shall submit reconciliation statement along with RA bills.

f.Fixing of embedded parts in required position in floors which will be supplied by NTPC/ Other agencies, transportation of all material from store to the floors, lifting arrangements of embedded parts ,welding machine, electrodes, cable, electrical panels, tools tackles and safety precautions/arrangements. Deck sheets cutting at the location of stuls shall be done by the agency at no extra cost.

g.Formwork on edges of floor, in openings, foundation , pockets with all labor, lifting of materials, tools and tackles at required locations. De-Shuttering and removal of formwork from all floors.

h.Concreting of floors with concrete pumps/boom placer, with concrete pipes fixed in position up to the required elevation from 0 m at required location, making necessary arrangements for clamping the piped in vertical position, all labor, tools tackles, supervision, safety precautions, protecting the openings at various floors, hard barricading etc.

i.The agency is free to contact and use the facility/ equipment like batching plant, quality lab, concrete pumps, boom placer etc of the existing/ working agencies in plant area. However, if required NTPC will only facilitate between agencies for usage of such existing facilities available at site. Moreover finalization of rates terms and conditions for the same shall be done and agreed by the agencies themselves.

j.Cleaning of floor after completion of activities , removal of all debris, materials, temporary barricades etc. and handing over of floor to NTPC.

k.The work is to be executed in line with the technical specifications, approved FQPs BOQ items as per the work awarded to M/s IVRCL.

l.Any other work required for completing facilities/works for handing over fronts to other agencies.
