“Salient Technical Features of the equipment/systems/services covered in this tender,
Bidding Document C00058 are mentioned below. These Salient Technical Features are
mentioned only to facilitate the prospective bidders to prima-facie understand the
requirements under the tender and shall not in any way limit or alter the scope of work and
technical features/specification of equipment/ systems/ services covered in the Bidding
Documents. Detailed provisions in regard of scope of work and technical features/
specification of equipment/ systems/ services, contained in the Bidding Documents shall
be final and binding.”
A BRIEF SCOPE OF WORK
The scope of work shall comprise, but not limited to the design, engineering,
manufacturing, testing and inspection at manufacturer’s works, packing, supply,
transportation, transit insurance, delivery to site, unloading, storage and equipment
erection, including assosciated civil works, inspection, testing and commissioning, handing
over to owner on single point responsibility basis in respect of 1 MWp floating Solar PV
plant in NTPC Kawas Reservoir at NTPC Kawas, Aditya Nagar, Surat, Gujarat (excluding
the supply of floaters and its accessories for floating platform). Detailed scope of work has
been specified in the bidding documents.
B SALIENT TECHNICAL FEATURES
Design, supply, installation, testing and commissioning & O&M of proposed one (01) MWp
floating solar PV plant (excluding the supply of floaters and its accessories for floating
platform).
The scope of bidder includes-
a) Design, Supply installation testing and commissioning of Solar PV Modules of
specified rating and dimension along with one RFID reader
b) Supply installation testing and commissioning Array junction boxes, MPPT based
Grid tied string inverter(s), ,
c) Remote monitoring system with 1 no Desktop computer
d) All associated electrical and civil works required for interfacing with spare HT
feeder(breaker included) in NTPC switchgear (i.e. Transformers, HT switchgear
with canopy, HT breaker, LT panel, Protection system( Numerical relay with 1
laptop), Energy meter, Earthing & Lightning system, HT & LT cabling, cable tray
and trenches etc) and evacuation of power
e) Supply and laying of Water resistant cable for components on floater platform, DC
cable for HT switchgear breaker operation from nearest identified point.
f) Supply and placing of pre-fab/ porta cabin for inverter interconnection panels / LT
panel.
g) Solar Module washing system including Cleaning wipers
h) One no of sonic/ ultrasonic based bird repellent system and Life jackets,
i) Comprehensive O&M of system for 2 years, etc.
