Supply and erection contract for separation of drains at NTPC Solapur

SALIENT TECHNICAL FEATURES:

"Salient Technical Features of the equipment / systems / services covered in Bid No.: 40082447

dated 27.10.2017 are mentioned below. These Salient Technical Features are mentioned only to

facilitate the prospective bidders to prima-facie understand the requirements under the tender

and shall not in any way limit or alter the scope of work and technical features / specification of

equipment / systems / services covered in the Bidding Documents. Detailed provisions in regard

of scope of work and technical features / specification of equipment / systems / services,

contained in the Bidding Documents shall be final and binding."

BRIEF SCOPE OF WORK:

a) Supply, Erection, Testing and trial operation of pumps (Approx.18 nos), MS pipes (Approx.

7000 m) and valves (Approx. 160 nos.) required for plant drain separation at NTPC

Solapur site with all miscellaneous items required to complete the facility.

b) Pump supply / erection includes supply of controller panel, 10 m SS chain, SS suction

strainer and other items required to complete the facility.

c) Pipe supply / erection includes all consumables like electrodes / gas / wrapping coating

material / fittings / paints / structural steel and other miscellaneous items required to

complete the facility. It also includes excavation for underground pipe. Quality checks as

per NTPC requirements to be done. Tools / tackles / equipment’s / JCB / hydra required

for erection work is in agency scope.

d) Supply of material (Pumps, Pipes & valves) to be as per NTPC approved make and from

vendor/ supplier.

e) Supply / erection and testing of the system to be completed within 6 months. Defect

liability period will be 6 months after successful completion of the facility.
