Salient technical feature of equipment/systems/services covered in NIT 40079855 mentioned
below. These salient technical features are mentioned only to facilitate the prospective bidders
to prima-facie understand the requirements under the tender and shall not in any way limit or
alter the scope of work and technical feature/specifications of equipment/systems/services
covered in the bidding documents. Details provision in regards of scope of work and technical
specification/ equipment/services, contained in the bidding documents shall be final and binding.
BRIEF SCOPE OF WORK:
The scope of work comprises of execution of 2 nos. 132 kV Switchyard bay extension works at
Darlipali STPP including 132/34.5kV Transformer, 33kV Switchgear, 33kV Cable & LT
switchgear (ACDB/DCDB Board) etc as shown in the tender single line diagram. 132kV
switchyard employs double bus switching scheme. The scope of work shall comprise, but not
limited to the design, engineering, manufacture, testing and inspection at manufacturer’s works,
packing, supply, transportation, transit insurance, delivery to site, unloading, storage and
equipment erection including associated civil and structural works and 33 kV Switchgear and
control room Building. Further it shall also include the cabling, lighting, lightning protection,
earthing, fire protection, ventilation, association of sub vendors if any in the erection, supervision,
site testing, inspection and commissioning of complete 132 kV switchyard extension work.
132 kV systems comprises of “Double Bus scheme”. The various bays work envisaged under
this package are as follows:
(i) 2 nos. of Transformer Bays (Double bus scheme)
(ii) 33KV HV cables for connecting 2 no. of Transformers to 33 kV Switchgear and switchgear
to OCPL terminal point (DP) (Boundary wall)
(iii) 2 numbers of 132/34.5 KV, 31.5 MVA transformer
(iv) 33KV Switchgear board
(v) LT switchgear board(ACDB/DCDB)
In addition to the above, following works are also included in the scope.
1. 33kV cables for interconnection of 2 no. of 132kV/34.5kV Transformers to 33kV
Switchgear and 33kV Switchgear to 33 kV Line up to plant boundary (DP) as indicated in
the tender SLD.
2. Integration of control, monitoring and protection IEDs being provided for the present
scope of 132kV Transformer bays with the existing substation automation system for
control and monitoring from existing OWS/EWS in order to have completely integrated
SAS. Supply of energy meters and its integration with existing metering master station.
The modification of existing bus bar protection (GE make P741/P743) and integration of
present scope bus-bar protection with existing bus bar protection is in the scope of the
bidder.
3. Fire protection arrangement for 2 No 132/34.5KV, 31.5MVA transformers.
4. Switchgear building as indicated in the tender drawings. All the civil works of switchgear
building along with its ventilation as per specification requirement.
5. Interconnection and laying of LT power and control cables in existing ACDB /DCDB
/MLDBs in 765/132KV switchyard control room building to propose 33 KV switchgear
room and termination of the same in new ACDB/DC Fuse boards/MLDB.
