BALANCE WORK OF ASH DYKE PACKAGE

“Salient Technical Features of the equipment / systems / services covered in IFB

No. 40077303 dated 23.06.2017 are mentioned below. These Salient Technical features are mentioned only to facilitate the prospective bidders to prima-facie understand the requirements under the tender and the bidder shall not in any way limit or alter the scope of work and technical features/specification of equipment/system/services covered in the Bidding Documents. Detailed provisions in regard of scope of work and technical features/specification of equipment/systems /services, contained in the Bidding Documents shall be final and binding”.

SALIENT TECHNICAL FEATURES:

The scope of work includes construction of starter ash dyke, covering two storage lagoons for BA & a common OFL and one storage lagoon & sedimentation basin for fly ash disposal through High Concentration slurry disposal (HCSD). Construction of two well type water escape structures & Spillways is also envisaged for decanting the slurry water (if any) and rain water. Bituminous Inspection road all along the periphery of ash dyke with provision of cross drain is also envisaged.

The major work involved in this package will be as given below;

1)Formation of dyke ( earth from inside ash pond area) – 25,000 cum

2)Formation of dyke ( earth available from borrow area arranged by contractor ) = 16.43 Lcum

3)Coarse Sand = 2.10 Lcum

4)Aggregate Filter = 10,000 Cum

5)Stone works = 10,000cum

6)Brick Works = 17,000 cum

7)Wet Mix Macadam(WMM) (Sub base) = 11,100 cum

8)Bituminous Macadam = 3600 cum

9)Bituminous Concrete = 1500 cum

10)RCC = 10,000 cum

BRIEF SCOPE OF WORK:
