Salient Technical Features of the Equipments/ Systems/ Services covered in NIT/IFB No. 40061001 dated 08.08.2016 are mentioned below.

These Salient Technical Features are mentioned only to facilitate the prospective Bidders to prima-facie understand the requirements under the tender and shall not in any way limit or alter the Scope of Work and Technical Features/ Specification of Equipments/ Systems/ Services covered in the Bidding Documents. Detailed provisions in regard of Scope of Work and Technical Features/ Specification of Equipments/ Systems/ Services, contained in the Bidding Document shall be final and binding.

SALIENT TECHNICAL FEATURES

1.0SCOPE OF WORK

The broad scope of work includes design, engineering, manufacture, testing at works, delivery and storage at site, erection, testing and commissioning of following:

a)All air-conditioning equipments for office areas in service building, administrative building, auditorium building, canteen building and other PLC/Microprocessor/GIU based control room.

2.0BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF AIR-CONDITIONING SYSTEM

It is proposed to provide Screw chilling machines to meet the air conditioning requirement of all the air conditioned areas of Service building and Administrative building. Further, air- conditioning requirement of Auditorium and canteen would be met with air-cooled condensing machines. Other DCS/PLC based control rooms of auxiliary buildings would be air- conditioned using split (non-Ductable) air conditioners. Details of major areas to be air conditioned and the equipments proposed to be provided are elaborated in the following para.

2.1A/C Plant for Service building.

2.1.1The A/C system would comprise of:

(i)2 x 165 TR capacity screw compression type chilling machine.

(ii)Two (02) Nos. of primary chilled water pumps.

(iii) Two (02) Nos. of variable frequency driven (VFD) Secondary chilled water pumps

(iv)Two (02) Nos. of condenser water pumps.

(v)Two (02) Nos. of variable frequency driven (VFD) cooling towers.

(vi)Nine (9) nos. of variable frequency driven (VFD) air handling units (AHUs)

(vii)Interconnecting piping, duct work, insulation, cabling, PLC/Microprocessor based control panel, instrumentation, etc.

2.2A/C Plant for Administrative building. 2.2.1 The A/C system would comprise of:

(i)2 x 150 TR capacity screw compression type chilling machine.

(ii)Two (02) Nos. of primary chilled water pumps.

(iii)Two (02) Nos. of variable frequency driven (VFD) Secondary chilled water pumps

(iv)Two (02) Nos. of condenser water pumps.

(v)Two (02) Nos. of variable frequency driven (VFD) cooling towers.

(vi)Ten (10) nos. of variable frequency driven (VFD) air handling units (AHUs)

(vii)Interconnecting piping, duct work, insulation, cabling, PLC/Microprocessor based control panel, instrumentation, etc.

2.3AC Plant for Auditorium.

2.3.1The AC system would comprise of

(i)2 x 30 TR capacity air cooled type condensing machine.

(ii)Two (02) Nos. of variable frequency driven (VFD) air handling units (AHUs) (iii)Interconnecting piping, duct work, insulation, cabling, PLC/Microprocessor/GIU based control panel, instrumentation, etc.

2.4AC Plant for Canteen.

2.4.1The AC system would comprise of

(i)2 x 30 TR capacity air cooled type condensing machine.

(ii)Two (02) Nos. of air handling units (AHUs)

(iii)Interconnecting piping, duct work, insulation, cabling, PLC/Microprocessor/GIU based control panel, instrumentation, etc.

2.5Non-Ductable Split Air-Conditioners.

2.5.1 AC plant control room in Administrative building, Service building, Auditorium building, Canteen building.

(i) 8 x 3 TR Non Ductable (Split).
