SALIENT TECHNICAL FEATURES

“Salient Technical Features of the equipment/systems/services covered in IFB no. 40045877 dated 20.10.2015 are mentioned below. These Salient Technical Features are mentioned only to facilitate the prospective bidders to prima-facie understand the requirements under the tender and shall not in any way limit or alter the scope of work and technical features/specification of equipment/systems/services covered in the Bidding Documents. Detailed provisions in regard of scope of work and technical features/specification of equipment/systems/services, contained in the Bidding Documents shall be final and binding.”

SALIENT TECHNICAL FEATURES:

The scope of work includes construction of starter ash dyke, covering one storage lagoon for Bottom ash slurry disposal and one over flow lagoon. Construction of well type water escape structure & Spillways is envisaged for decanting the water.

The major work involved in this package is as given below;

1.	Earth work in Embankment Construction	= 3,75,000 cum
	( with borrowed earth to be arranged by the contractor)
3. Providing Sand filter		= 85,000 cum
4.	Providing Aggregate filter	= 7,500 cum
5.	Providing Rock toe & rip rap	= 12,000 cum
6.	Reinforced concrete work	= 3,400 cum
