NABINAGAR THERMAL POWER PROJECT (4X250 MW) BALANCE WORKS OF ASH DYKE PACKAGE (RETENDERED)

SALIENT TECHNICAL FEATURES:

The scope of work includes construction of balance civil works of starter ash dyke, covering two storage lagoons and one common over flow lagoon (OFL) which will be constructed with earth as main construction material. The work also involves earthwork in excavation in site levelling works within site levelling boundary. Construction of well type water escape structures for discharging decanted water into the over flow lagoon. Spillways are also envisaged for discharging excess water from OFL and storage lagoons. Discharge channel, RCC drain and box type RCC culvert are also envisaged for drainage of rain water.

The major work involved in this package is as given below;

1. Excavation in soil/rock

2.Earth work in Embankment Construction = 14,39,000 cum (with earth available from Inside pond & plant area)

3.	Providing Sand works/filter	=	2,69,000 cum
4.	Providing Aggregate filter	=	40,000 cum
5.	Providing Rock toe & rip rap	=	39,000 cum
6.	Reinforced concrete work	=	5,000 cum
7.	Road work (WBM)	=	13,000 cum
