Construction of Covered / Shed car parking at Township & Plant of Solapur STPP (2x660 MW)

“Salient Technical Features of the equipment/systems/services covered in NITNo. / Bid Invitation no.: 40042384 dated: 17.07.2015 is mentioned below. These Salient Technical Features are mentioned only to facilitate the prospective bidders to prima-facie understand the requirements under the tender and shall not in any way limit or alter the Scope of work and technical features /specification of equipment / systems / services covered in the Bidding Documents. Detailed provisions in regard of scope of work and technical features/specification of equipment/systems/services, contained in the Bidding Documents shall be final and bidding”.

SALIENT TECHNICAL FEATURES

The broad scope of work under this package shall include all electrical works related to the work of "Construction of Covered / Shed car parking at Township & Plant of Solapur STPP ". The work shall include Supply, Storage, Erection, Testing and Commissioning of following items for the complete electrification ".

(a) PVC Conduit and wires

(b) Light fittings and MCBs.

Special Terms and Conditions of contract

1. The work should be carried out strictly as per the latest CPWD specification up to date correction slips and relevant codes.

2. The agency has to arrange all the materials and manpower required for the work. NTPC shall not issue any material for the work. All the materials should be strictly as per specifications.

3. ELECTRICAL LICENSE

The agency should have valid electrical License or may engage / tie-up as subcontractor having electrical license with prior approval of Engineer-In-Charge.

4.The makes for the items should be as per list enclosed at annexure-I and should be approved by the NTPC before installation

5.PVC conduitsshall be of Medium Class with ISI mark.

6.Wires used for wiring shall be 1100Volts grade with ISI mark .

7.MCB shall be of following makes: Indo Asian, MDS, L&T, Siemens, GE.
