Sub:- Providing earthen bund at creast level of R-6, L-2 of St-I, Ash dyke of TSTPS, Kaniha.

SALIENT TECHNICAL FEATURES:

Talcher Super Thermal Power Station is a Unit of NTPC, in Kaniha block under Talcher sub- division of Angul district of ODISHA.

Nearest Airport : Bhubaneswar 180 KMs

INSTALLED CAPACITY

STAGE-I : 2 Units each 500 MW = Total 1000 MW

STAGE-II : 4 Units each 500 MW = Total 2000 MW

TECHNICAL FEATURES :

Providing the earthen bund at crest level is to be carried out at R-6, L-2 of St-I Ash dyke of TSTPS (2X500 mw).

The item involved is construction of earthen bund of 1.0 Mtr height above RL 117.35 around the periphery of R-6, L-2. The bund shall be constructed in layers with adequate compaction. The stripping item is there to excavate ash for preparation of base for the earthen bund. The slope of the bund shall be suitable compacted.

The work is to be executed on firm price basis without any escalation.
