PROCUREMENT OF “Telephone Cables for extending EPBAX facility to NTPC Solapur STPP Township”
Salient Features of the items covered in Bid Invitation No.: 40037057 Dated: 20.04.2015 are mentioned below. These Salient Features are mentioned only to facilitate the prospective bidders to prima-facie understand the requirements under the tender and shall not in any way limit or alter the Scope of procurement covered in the Bidding Documents. Detailed provisions in regard of scope of procurement, contained in the Bidding Documents shall be final and bidding”.
SALIENT TECHNICAL FEATURES
The scope of the subject procurement is supply of the following cables, as per the technical specifications:
2) 50 Pair X 0.5 mm Armoured Polythene Insulated, Polyethylene Sheathed U/G Jelly Filled Telephone Cable.
3) 20 Pair X 0.5 mm Armoured Polythene Insulated, Polyethylene Sheathed U/G Jelly Filled Telephone Cable.
4) 10 Pair X 0.5 mm Armoured Polythene Insulated, Polyethylene Sheathed U/G Jelly Filled Telephone Cable.
5) 2 Pair X 0.5 Mm PVC Insulated Unarmoured Telephone Cable.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
1. The core conductors of cable should be made of solid annealed copper wire.
2. The cable should be supplied in forms of coir's / drums of standard length. No cut pieces are allowed.
3. Vendor should submit the manufacturer / Material test certificate along with supply.
4. The cable should be manufactured in compliance with the DOT / BSNL /TEC specifications.
5. Running Meter Length shall be marked on the cable.
6. Quantity variation +-5% is allowed.
· Please take a note that PDI (Pre Dispatch Inspection) will be applicable in the subject tender.
· Bid Evaluation will be done item wise.
