Silent Technical Features

The scope of Compressors for APH system includes design, engineering, manufacture, inspection and testing at supplier’s works, packing and supply on FOR basis at Barh site, supervision of erection and commissioning of Three (3) nos. oil-free reciprocating type booster Compressor of capacity 10 Nm3/min having suction pressure of 6 kg/cm2(g) and discharge pressure of 25 kg/cm2 (g) for three units of Barh stage-I. Each Booster Air compressor shall be on a common skid and consisting of compressor with drive motor, intercooler (as applicable) ,after cooler , moisture separators , cooling water piping and valves, instruments and control panel etc. Each booster Air compressor (complete skid) shall be located outdoor inside a shed near 4 nos. air receiver in the boiler APH area of each Unit # 1, 2 & 3. Discharge of each Booster air compressor shall be fed to the 4 nos. air receiver (capacity 25 m3/minute each) of employer which shall be used for running of air motor of APH in case of emergency.
