SALIENT TECHNICAL FEATURES

1.01.00 Brief Scope of Work:

The scope of Soot Blowing System Package for 3 units of 660 MW of Barh Super Thermal Power Project Stage-I shall cover design, engineering, manufacture, fabrication, testing/type testing at manufacturer’s works, packing, transportation, Preassembly (if any), supervision of erection, testing, supervision of commissioning and completion of facilities including putting into satisfactory operation of all the equipment’s and successful completion of initial operation at site under bidder’s scope of work of Soot Blowing System Package for 3 units of 660 MW. Soot Blowing System shall have but not limited to the following for 3 x 660 MW Steam Generator of Barh Super Thermal Power Project Stage-I:

· Steam Wall Soot Blowers along with motor and accessories.

· Steam Long Retractable Soot Blowers along with motor and accessories for 3 x 660 MW Steam Generator of Barh Super Thermal Power Project Stage-I .

· Smart Water Cannons/hydrojets complete with hydraulic pumps with motors, Fans with motors,, piping, valves, instrumentation, PLC based control system etc.

· 40 x 3 nos. Smart Flux sensors.

· Soot Blower Pressure Reducing Valves , Shut off valves in soot blower steam & drain lines, Orifices & flow elements including isolating valves for tapping points etc..

· Soot Blower Motor Control Center (SBMCC) for all soot blowers and system included in scope. Power & Control cables. Trays, Cabling & Installation for branch routes.

· Measuring instruments (pressure transmitters, pressure gauge, temperature elements with transmitter, temperature gauge, flow transmitters etc.).

· Mandatory Spares

· First fill and one year topping requirement of consumables/oils/lubricants, supply of special maintenance tools and tackles, commissioning spares, mandatory spares etc.

1.02.00 Service Conditions

The Steam Generators are designed to burn pulverised coal. HFO/HPS/LSHS and LDO shall be used during startup and at low loads for warm up and flame stablisation of Steam Generator. The Soot Blowers & Water Cannons/hydrojets shall be designed to remove soot/slag in the Steam Generator with pulverized coal firing.
