“Salient Technical Features of the equipment/systems/services covered in IFB No. CS-9558-102D-2 dated 17.02.2015, Bidding Document No. CS-9558-102D-2 are mentioned below. These Salient Technical Features are mentioned only to facilitate the prospective bidders to prima-facie understand the requirements under the tender and shall not in any way limit or alter the scope of work and technical features/specification of equipment/ systems/ services covered in the Bidding Documents. Detailed provisions in regard of scope of work and technical features/ specification of equipment/ systems/ services, contained in the Bidding Documents shall be final and binding.”

SALIENT TECHNICAL FEATURES

The salient technical features for the subject POWER CYCLE PIPING PACKAGE for BARH STPP STAGE – 1 (3x660 MW) is as follows:

Design & Engineering (limited to certain items & piping), Manufacture, Fabrication, Testing at manufacturer’s works/shop, Supply, Transportation from Works to Plant Site of Employer, in plant transportation, Storage, Erection, Testing & Commissioning works etc. for all piping systems & equipment along with all accessories & associated services as specified in the Technical specification for the Power Cycle Piping Package of BARH Super Ther­mal Power Project, Stage-1 (3 x 660 MW), on the basis of single point responsibility, completely covering the following activities and services in respect of Power Cycle Piping systems, Valves & Actuators and Aux Structural steel works for supports covered under the specifications:

a) Manufacture, Supply, Fabrication, Erection, Testing & Commissioning works for critical piping (viz. Main Steam, Hot Reheat, Cold reheat, HP & LP Bypass piping, Attemperation to SH / RH, Startup System etc.) system along with their Hangers & Supports, Valves along with actuators, complete Insulation and Painting etc.

b) Engineering, Manufacture, Supply, Construction, Erection, Testing & Commissioning works for Feed Water discharge piping system, APRDS piping, various drains and vents of Critical Piping and Pressure parts (as detailed in scope),

c) Compliance with statutory requirements and obtaining clearances from statutory authorities, wherever required;

e) Complete manufacturing including shop testing/type testing;

f) Packing and transportation from the manufacturer’s works to the site including logistic studies, insurance, customs clearance & port clearance, port charges, if any.

h) Receipt, storage, preservation, handling and conservation of equipment at the site;

i) Fabrication, pre-assembly, if any, erection, insurance, testing, commissioning and completion of facilities including successful completion of initial operation;

j) Supply of spares on FOR site basis;
