NTPC Talcher-Kaniha (TSTPS) plant is located in Kaniha block under Talcher sub-division of Angul district in the state of Orissa.

EQUIPMENTS INVOLVED IN THE CONTRACT
Vertical duct emanating from 81 M to 32 m(4 ducts, PAPH 2 Ducts & SAPH 2 Ducts). Metallic expansion joint (20 Nos) per unit of stage-1(Unit 1 & 2)
JOBS IN BRIEF:
There are 04 nos. of vertical circular (round) flue gas ducts emanating from boiler from 85M to 32M elevations. The diameter of the PAPH ducts varies from 4 M to 5 M & SAPH ducts varies from 6.5 M to 7.5 M. Scaffolding shall be erected between 32M elevation to 80M elevation (Approx.) inside the ducts at points mentioned in the SOW to carry out the thickness survey and repairing/replacement jobs. Also, replacement of MEJ is also included in the scope of the contract, the scaffolding for which should be erected as mentioned in the SOW. The jobs shall include cleaning of ducts, repairing of duct plates and replacement & protection of Metallic expansion joints
