Salient Technical Features of Technical Specifications

Contractor shall carry out 340 LKM 2D Seismic Data acquisition and processing work using appropriate methodology and equipment with own personal and equipments.

1.0 SCOPE OF WORK:

The scope of work comprises:

(i) Survey Design

The bidder shall submit detailed survey design for acquisition of 340 LKM 2D seismic data for the block.

(ii) Topographic survey for laying of seismic lines.

Topographic survey and laying of seismic lines necessary to determine the precise location in terms of (X, Y, Z) coordinates of each shot and receiver location and tying the same to the nearest available permanent bench-marks using latest equipment such as DGPS, Total Stations with EDM and Data Logger etc. with an accuracy of better than 1m.

(iii) Drilling of shot-holes and Dynamite loading

Deploying sufficient number of manual and mechanised shot hole drilling rigs, so as to drill sufficient number of shot holes to ensure completion of 340 LKM 2D seismic data acquisition within the stipulated period.

(iv) Recording of seismic data

Recording of data by deploying a 24-delta-sigma based telemetry system with suitable noise shaping filter and capable of recording minimum 500 channels. Deploying low distortion and high sensitivity geophones with a natural frequency of 10 hz.

(v) Processing of recorded data

Deployment of workstation with requisite hardware, software, accessories and consumables together with acceptable plotting facilities. The processing shall include, but not limited to, amplitude recovery, deconvolution, velocity analysis, static correction, residual static application, NMO correction, Stacking, post stack migration, FX deconvolution and Scaling, etc

(vi) Submission of Data

Reports and data submission at regular interval as specified by NTPC.
