NTPC Talcher Kaniha (TSTPS) plant is located in Kaniha Block under Talcher sub-division of Angul district, in the state of Orissa.

Nearest Town : Talcher 26Kms.

Nearest Railway Station : Talcher 29 Kms.

Nearest Airport : Bhubaneswar 180 Kms.

STAGE-II- 4 UNITS EACH 500 MW – TOTAL -2000 MW

BRIEF SCOPE OF WORK

New battery room will be construted near CHP control room.This will cater to the DC system of CHP area.To commission this , various sizezs of cables as detailed below will be laid from battery room to various MCC’s of CHP.Cables will be laid in old trays wherever available and new trays will be laid as per requirement.Underground cabling is to be done wherever required. Cable Jointing and termination to be done as per scope of wor.Separate earth pit will be constructed near battery room as per specification.

Detailed Scope of work as below.

Laying of armoured AL power cableof various sizes (1CX300, 2CX120, 2CX35 sq.mm) & laying of control cable of various sizes & laying of various sizes (1C to 20CX05/1.5/2.5 sq.mm) on existing or newly erected trays/trench/RCC/GI and or laying in under ground.Straight through joint of cables & end termination of cables under scope of contractor

Erection of cable trays on supporting structure with laying of earth flat on newly erected cable tray with proper welding upto 600mm wherever required

Erection of earth pit with 600mm radius and 3meter depth includes supply of all materials required like GI pipe, sea salt, charcoal etc.

Digging of cable trench of depth 1 meter & 600 mm depth to accommodate GI conduit by excavating soil after that refilling of cable trench by excavated soil.
