Sub: CW Chemical Treatment of cooling water of all the six units of Stage- I & II TSTPS Kaniha.

Introduction:

NTPC/Talcher Kaniha Super Thermal Power Station is located in Kaniha block under Talcher subdivision of Angul District of Odisha.

Nearest Town – Talcher (26 Km)

Nearest Railway Station – Talcher (29 Km)

Nearest Airport – Bhubaneswar (180 Km)

Stage – I : 2 X 500 MW

Stage – II : 4 X 500 MW

BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF WORK

Bidder should carry out chemical treatment of Cooling water at NTPC-TSTPS,Kaniha,Angul,Odisha Stage-I,(2x500MW)& stage-II (4x500MW) to control scaling, deposition, corrosion, microbes induced corrosion & microbiological fouling and control weight gain of CT fills ,with generic chemicals / formulations and Chlorine dioxide dosing as per annexure VI. Supply and treatment of chemicals at CW system shall be the part of this work. The job also includes operation & monitoring of dosing system, chemical analysis of water, recording of data of performance monitoring equipments etc. during the entire period of treatment programme. Any other jobs related to CW treatment to improve the effectiveness of overall system shall be in the scope of the party and shall be carried out as per instruction of Engineer in charge.
