Jobs In brief

In general the contract consistes of routine meaintenance, overhauling maintenance and breakdown maintenance.

Major jobs included in this contract are removal of insulation and cladding during emergency and breakdown maintenance and during overhauling works of Boiler, Turbine, Turbine auxiliaries, pipings, valves etc. Cleaning, putting insulation mattresses and sheeting has to be done as per availability of clearances from EIC while the works of breakdown maintenance are required to be carried out in hot/warm condition, the overhauling works to be carried out to achieve completion of lagging and sheeting works of areas upto 2000-3000m² in a short span of 6-7 days.

The job also requires that the contracting agency must visit / take a round of each unit, identify the damaged / missing insulation area, maintain a record and carryout the same after obtaining the permission of EIC and obtaining the necessary permit to work.

Taking all the safety precautions for working at height is responsibility of the contractor.
