SALIENT TECHNICAL FEATURES FOR EFFLUENT QUALITY MONITORING SYSTEM (EQMS) PACKAGE FOR NTPC POWER STATIONS

“Salient technical Features of the equipment/system /services covered in IFB No 40031682 is mentioned below. These Salient Technical Features are mentioned only to facilitate the prospective bidders to prima-facie understand the requirements under the tender and shall not in any way limit or alter the scope of work and technical features /specification of equipment/system/services offered in the bidding Documents. Detailed provision in regard of scope of work and technical features/specification of equipment/ system /services, contained in the Bidding Document shall be final and binding”

EQMS Package shall comprise of following

Scope includes Supply, Installation and Commissioning of EQMS Package at 31 locations of NTPC Station

The Scope Supply of EQMS Package shall comprise of Following:

a) ANALYZERS
1)	pH Analyzer	1 No.
2)	Conductivity Analyzer	1 No.
3)	Chemical Oxygen Demand (COD) Analyzer*	1 No.
4)	Biological Oxygen Demand (BOD) Analyzer*	1 No.
5)	Total Suspended Solid (TSS) Analyzer	1 No.
6)	Oil in Water (OIW) Analyzer	1 No.

Note:- * BOD & COD analysers are shown separately for the purpose of input only otherwise any of the BOD & COD analysers can be clubbed together to be provided as a single unit meeting the specifications.

b) MEASURING INSTRUMENTS IN EFFLUENT LINE / DISCHARGE / CHANNEL

1) Temperature measurement	1 No.
2) Flow measurement	1 No.

c)DATA ACQUISITION SYSTEM

Effluent Quality Monitoring System will include an advanced data acquisition system (i.e. data logger), graphic display , mini UPS as detailed out in Part-B, section-VI , Sub Sec –III C -02 of technical specification.

d)DATA COMMUNICATION SYSTEM

The communication between EQMS and CPCB server must be two-way communication system utilizing GPRS. The communication between EQMS and NTPC server must be two-way communication system utilizing Ethernet. The details of data communication system are elaborated in Part-B, section-VI , Sub Sec –III C -02 of technical specification.

e) Scope shall also includes Enclosure, Required Electrical Power Supply System, Process Connections, Piping, Instrument/ Service Air, Instrumentation Cables, Power Cables & Cable Trays
