SALIENT TECHNICAL FEATURES FOR CW SYSTEM EQUIPMENT PACKAGE FOR TANDA TPP, STAGE-II (2x660MW)

“Salient Technical Features of the equipment/systems/services covered in IFB No. 40030658 is mentioned below. These Salient Technical Features are mentioned only to facilitate the prospective bidders to prima-facie understand the requirements under the tender and shall not in any way limit or alter the scope of work and technical features/specification of equipment/ systems/ services covered in the Bidding Documents. Detailed provisions in regard of scope of work and technical features/specification of equipment/systems/services, contained in the Bidding Document shall be final and binding.”

a) Five (5) numbers of Circulating Water (CW) Pumps each of capacity 36,000 Cu.M / hr with drives – Pumps shall be Vertical wet pit (Non Pull Out Type)/Concrete volute design/metallic volute design

b) Two (2) numbers of Make-up water Pumps of capacity 6500 Cu .M / hr and head of 5 MWC

c) Three (3) numbers of Raw water Pumps (PT) of capacity 1900 Cu.M / hr and head of 30 MWC

d) Two (2) numbers of Raw water Pumps (Ash) of capacity 1100 Cu.M / hr and head of 25 MWC

e) Pump Discharge Butterfly Valves with Electro-hydraulic actuators for each CW Pump and electric actuators for all other pumps

f) Two (2) numbers of duct interconnection butterfly valves (CW) with electrical actuators.

g) Rubber Expansion joints at the discharge of each pump.

h) Gantry cranes for CW pump house, Raw water pump house and Makeup water pump house.

i) All associated electrical works. Control and instrumentation works.

j) Seal water pumps, drainage pumps (if applicable)

k) Required number of Air release valves

l) Sump model studies for CW pump sumps.
