PLANT OVERVIEW:

NTPC Talcher Kaniha (TSTPS) plant is located in Kaniha Block under Talcher sub-division of Angul district, in the state of Orissa.

Nearest Town : Talcher 26Kms.

Nearest Airport : Bhubaneswar 180 Kms.

INSTALLED CAPACITY

STAGE-I - 2 UNITS EACH 500MW- TOTAL -1000MW

STAGE-II- 4 UNITS EACH 500 MW – TOTAL -2000 MW

EQUIPMENTS INVOLVED IN THE CONTRACT

Stage-II UNITS:- 4 X 500 MW

BOILER Make :- BHEL

The C&I systems of the BHEL supplied boiler which is controlled using the Procontrol P 13 system and all the field equipments connected and related to the system.

TURBINE Make :- BHEL

The C&I systems of the BHEL supplied turbine which is controlled using the Procontrol P 13 system and all the field equipments connected and related to the system.

BOP C&I Make :- Honeywell Experion system.

The balance of plant C&I system is controlled using the Honeywell make “Experion” system and all the field equipments connected and related to the system.

OFFSITE C&I SYSTEMS:

This contract will also involve maintenance of C&I systems of various offsite like CHP, MGR, ASPH, DM plant, Ash Dike, Raw Water Pump House, Cooling Towers, PT, AC Plant, Compressor House, CW pump House, H2 Plant, Chlorination Plant etc and other offsite connected and related to stage II C&I system.

This contract is for the maintenance of the plant and equipments during routine maintenance and overhauling maintenance of the systems. The work is to be carried out in Stage-II.

Preventive/ Break down maintenance and Overhauling of various equipments.

Installation and commissioning of equipments involving cable laying, fabrication etc.

Manpower supply during overhauling of stage II C&I systems.
