SALIENT TECHNICAL FEATURES FOR CW SYSTEM AND MAKE UP WATER SYSTEM CIVIL WORKS PACKAGE FOR TANDA TPP, STAGE-II (2x660MW)

“Salient Technical Features of the equipment/systems/services covered in IFB No. 40030225 dated 27.11.2014 are mentioned below. These Salient Technical Features are mentioned only to facilitate the prospective bidders to prima-facie understand the requirements under the tender and shall not in any way limit or alter the scope of work and technical features/specification of equipment/ systems/ services covered in the Bidding Documents. Detailed provisions in regard of scope of work and technical features/specification of equipment/systems/services, contained in the Bidding Document shall be final and binding.”

The package consists of Civil, Structural and Architectural works:

Civil, structural and architectural works for CW System, CW Pump House, Makeup Water pump house, Raw Water Pump house and laying of MUW pipelines including fabrication and erection of the following major structures:

a)CW pump house including maintenance bay, Forebay, Transition zone etc.

b)Makeup Water pump house including maintenance bay, common pit, inlet pipe from Irrigation Canal, Outlet pipe from Makeup water pump house to existing Reservoir, Stoplog gates, trash rack, lifting beam, hoist, switchgear room, control room including battery room, transformer foundation, etc.

c)CW ducts from CW pump house to transformer yard area and from transformer yard area to Cooling Towers, etc. (ducts between transformer yard area and A-row are covered in Main Plant, Offsite and Chimney & Chimney Elevator package)

d)Open CW RCC channel, etc.

e)Raw water pump house near reservoir inside plant area including maintenance bay, common pit, inlet pipes from reservoir, stoplog gates, trash rack, lifting beam, hoist, switchgear room, control room including battery room, transformer foundation, etc.
