Salient Technical Features:

“Salient Technical Features of the equipment/systems/services covered in IFB no 40025210 dated 08.08.2013 are mentioned below. These Salient Technical features are mentioned only to facilitate the prospective bidders to prima-facie understand the requirements under the tender and shall not in any way limit or alter the scope of work and technical features/ specification of equipment/systems/services covered in the Bidding Documents. Detailed provisions in regard of scope of work and technical features/specification of equipment/systems/services, contained in the Bidding Documents shall be final and binding.”

Brief Scope:

The scope of work includes design, manufacture, engineering, inspection and testing at suppliers works, packing, forwarding to site, unloading, erection, supervision, pre- commissioning, testing and commissioning, and performance testing of equipment/system of the CW system equipment package and furnishing of spares as per specifications and scope defined in the bidding documents

Salient Features of major system & equipments are as follows:

A) CW system equipments

1) CW pumps with associated motors.

3) Two (2) nos of 2600mm electrically actuated butterfly valve for CW duct interconnection and 1400mm electrically actuated butterfly valve for recirculation line

5)Five (5) nos rubber expansion joint for CW pumps

6)One (1) no 60 tons capacity (minimum) Gantry crane

7)Required numbers of Air release valves

8)Duct interconnection and recirculation piping

9)Carrying out transient analysis and sump model studies.

10)Station auxiliary cooling water pumps (SACW) consisting of three(3) nos vertical pumps (capacity-1000cum/hr and 50 MWC head),motor, butterfly valve, expansion joint, one no gantry crane

B)1) Intake water system consisting of three(3) numbers vertical, Intakewell pumps (capacity-2700 cum/hr and 20 MWC head), motor, butterfly valve, expansion joint ,lubrication water system, one number circular EOT crane of 10T capacity .

2)Makeup water system consisting of three(3) numbers vertical, Makeup water pumps (capacity-2500 cum/hr and 70 MWC head), motor, butterfly valve, expansion joint, lubrication water system, one number EOT crane of 15T capacity .

3)Silt flush pumps along with motor, valves & fittings, hoist.

4)VFD system for Intake well pumps and LT power & control cables required between VFD panels & Intake well pump motors

5)Carrying out transient analysis for makeup water system

C)Raw water system consisting of three(3) numbers vertical, Raw water (PT) pumps (capacity-2200 cum/hr and 38 MWC head), two(2) numbers vertical Raw water (ash) pumps (capacity-550 cum/hr and 62 MWC head) along with motor, butterfly valve check valve, expansion joint ,lubrication water system etc. and one number Gantry crane of 10 T capacity .
