Sub: Annual toe drain cleaning of Stage-I ash dyke of TSTPS.

SALIENT TECHNICAL FEATURES:

Talcher Super Thermal Power Station is a Unit of NTPC, in Kaniha block under Talcher sub- division of Angul district of ODISHA.

INSTALLED CAPACITY

STAGE-I : 2 Units each 500 MW = Total 1000 MW

STAGE-II : 4 Units each 500 MW = Total 2000 MW

TECHNICAL FEATURES :

Toe drain cleaning work of Ash Dyke is to be carried out at Stage-I, Lagoon-I & II dyke of TSTPS (2X500 MW).

Toe drain cleaning involves cleaning of grass by uprooting in toe portion of dyke and stacking away from toe and removal of ash/earth/slush and debris and dumping inside the dyke and levelling the same uniformly.

The work is to be executed on firm price basis without any escalation.
