Salient Technical Features

The scope of supply includes Design, Engineering, fabrication, assembly, shop testing and inspection at manufacturer’s works, packing and forwarding, transportation & Supply of Gravimetric Coal Feeder, complete with Cleanout Conveyor, drives with Electric Motors, Microprocessor based Control system including HMI colour display , Variable Speed Drive (for the main belt) etc. along with feeder Inlet chute, Inlet expansion joints, Inlet gates along with rod type isolation gate, outlet chute, outlet knife edge gate with pneumatic actuator, mill inlet straight pipe & supports, dismantling of existing equipment as required, erection, commissioning and performance testing of the equipment / system etc.

The Gravimetric coal Feeders to be 36 inch. sized to handle the Capacity & Type of Coal specified in the Feeder Selection Parameters. The feeder shall have electronically controlled variable speed drive for the accurate regulation of the coal feed rate. The feeder shall have provision for reverse rotation to facilitate bunker emptying. A dresser or equal coupling shall be provided on each feeder inlet to permit bunker and feeder expansion movements. The inner ring shall be of stainless steel. The feeders shall be supplied with suitable Supports, base plate, Foundation Bolt & Inserts, so that it can be mounted directly on the RCC Floor platform. The scope of work also includes bunker modification to suit with 36 inch. feeder inlet.
