SILENT TECHNICAL FEATURES

PLANT OVER VIEW:

NTPC Talcher Kaniha (TSTPS) plant is located in Kaniha block under Talcher subdivision of Angul district in state of Orissa.

Nearest Air port:                     Bhubaneswar  180 KM

INSTALLED CAPACITY:           STAGE - I, 02 UNITS EACH OF 500 MW         TOTAL - 1000 MW                                                     STAGE - II, 04 UNITS EACH OF 500 MW        TOTAL - 2000 MW

DESCRIPTION OF FEATURES:

Ø  The main function of the contract is to laying of over head piping net works of Fire fighting system in Stage-I &II area and providing of isolation valves.

Ø  Transportation of pipes, valves and structural materials are to be transported from the stores / any other places inside plant to the work place and the damaged pipes / eroded pipes are to be returned to stores by hydra, Tractors or any means are in the scope of agency.

Ø  Agency has to provide structures supports up to 10 meters height to enable laying of pipes to connect to existing pipes with proper alignment of pipes. All the safety measures have to follow strictly as per NTPC norms and directions during execution of the works.

Ø  The welding rods and paints to be used are off NTPC approved brand and the Radiography test, Hydro test, DP test and painting will be carried out as per NTPC approved procedures.

Ø  Agency has to deploy sufficient men power in this site so that, a isolated pipe line hadder (under permit) can be made workable within twelve hour.
