SALIENT TECHNICAL FEATURES:

Talcher Super Thermal Power Station is a Unit of NTPC, in Kaniha block under Talcher sub- division of Angul district of ODISHA.

Nearest Town	: Talcher 26 KMs
Nearest Railway Station	: Talcher 29 KMs
Nearest Airport	: Bhubaneswar 180 KMs

INSTALLED CAPACITY

STAGE-I : 2 Units each 500 MW = Total 1000 MW

STAGE-II : 4 Units each 500 MW = Total 2000 MW

TECHNICAL FEATURES :

1.Schedule items (Part 00010) are based on DSR-2012 rates minus 10% (excluding cost of cement, reinforced steel & FPS brick wherever required).

2.NTPC manufactured fly ash bricks are to be used in place of F.P.S. bricks.

3.Cement, bricks and reinforced steel bars are to be issued from NTPC Store at free of cost. However, vendor has to transport the materials from NTPC store to work site at his own cost.

4.Electricity and construction water will be provided by NTPC.
