DARLIPALI SUPER THERMAL POWER PROJECT, STAGE-I (2 X 800 MW) CW SYSTEM AND MAKE-UP WATER SYSTEM CIVIL WORKS PACKAGE

Brief Scope of Work & Salient Technical Features

A.Inside Plant Boundary

Civil, Structural and Architectural works including fabrication and erection of Structural Steel/ Pipes of the following major structures/ facilities:

1)CW pump house including maintenance bay, forebay etc.,

2)Raw water pump house at in-plant reservoir including maintenance bay and forebay etc.,

3)Stop log & trash racks including 1st & 2nd stage embedments, lifting beam for CW pump house, Raw water pump house and Gantry crane for CW Pump House,

4)Switchgear building, control room building including battery room and transformer foundation etc. for Raw water pump house,

5)Single lane WBM road with black top near Raw Water Facility Area

6)CW duct fabrication, transportation, erection, laying, concreting, testing, crossings with road etc,

7)CW channel, transition zones, channel crossings with roads etc.

B.Outside Plant Boundary

Civil, Structural and Architectural works including fabrication and erection of Structural Steel/ Pipes of the following major structures/ facilities:

1)Make-up Water pump house including maintenance bay, forebay etc.,

2)Intake channel of approximately 1.42 km length with embankments on both sides of intake channel

3)The essential Civil works of Make-up water pump house of stage-II along with Civil works of buildings for Electrical facilities of stage-II are also proposed to be constructed in Stage-I itself.

4)Stop log & trash racks including 1st & 2nd stage embedments, lifting beam with hoists for Make-up water pump house.

5)Facilities like switchgear room building, control room building including battery room, transformer foundation, pipe pedestals, culverts, boundary wall, internal roads, drains etc. at Hirakud Reservoir end.

6)Area filling, providing drains and slope protection works with wire crates/ stone rip rap/ RR masonry etc.

7)Civil Works required for Make-up Water Pipes Package for overground pipeline.

8)Single lane WBM road with black top around the Make-up Water Pump House Area and from Main Road to Make-up water facility area.
