BRIEF SCOPE OF WORK AND TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS OF "PROCUREMENT OF CABLES FOR EPABX"

BRIEF SCOPE OF WORK:

1)     20 Pair X 0.5MM ARMOURED POLYTHENE INSULATED, POLYETHYLENE SHEATHED U/G JELLY FILLED TELEPHONE CABLE.

Technical Specification:

0.5MM DIAMETER, ANNEALED COPPER, COLOUR CODED, CORES TWISTED INTO PAIRS, CABLE CORES APPLIED WITH MOISTURE BARRIER, JELLY FILLED, ARMOURED, POLYTHENE JACKETED CABLE CONFIRMING TO THE SPECIFICATION NUMBER: GR/CUG-01/03, AUG-2003 AS UPDATED FROM TIME TO TIME.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

1) The core conductors of cable should be made of solid annealed copper wire.

2) The cable should be supplied in forms of coir's / drums of standard length. No cut pieces are allowed.

3)  Vendor should submit the manufacturer / Material test certificate along with supply.

4) The cable shall be designed for laying in ducts/ air/ underground etc.

5) The cable should be manufactured in compliance with the DOT / BSNL /TEC specifications.

6) Running Meter Length shall be marked on the cable.

7) Quantity variation +-5% is allowed.
