SAILENT TECHNICAL FEATURES

"Salient Technical Features of the "Construction of B-Type, C-Type & D-I Type Quarters in West Colony at NTPC-Bongaigaon." covered in NIT/ IFB no 40019941/ BgTPP/C&M/CS/2427 dated 28.04.2014 are mentioned below. These salient Technical Features are mentioned only to facilitate the prospective bidders to prima-facie understand the requirements under the tender and shall not in any way limit or alter the scope of work and technical features/ specification of Construction of B-Type, C-Type & D-I Type Quarters in West Colony at NTPC-Bongaigaon covered in the bidding documents. Detailed provisions in regard of scope of work and technical features/ specification of Construction of B-Type, C-Type & D-I Type Quarters in West Colony at NTPC-Bongaigaon contained in the Bidding Documents shall be final and binding." 

SALIENT TECHNICAL FEATURES

FOR CIVIL WORKS:

• Construction of B Type (6 blocks; 30 units), C Type (15 blocks; 75 units) & DI Type (3blocks; 15 units) Quarters at Bg.T.P.P having Ground Floor, First Floor& second floor as per drawing & BOQ and specifications.
• Construction of B Type (6 blocks; 30 units), C Type (15 blocks; 75 units) & DI Type (3blocks; 15 units) Quarters at Bg.T.P.P includes following works - Earth work, PCC, RCC, Brick masonary, Stone work, Wood work, Steel work, flooring, aluminum work, finishing work such as water proofing cement paint, oil bound distemper, synthetic enamel painting, Roof treatment, Water proofing, Water supply & Sanitation work etc. as per BOQ.

FOR ELECTRICAL WORKS:

• Internal electrification work shall be carried out as per latest CPWD General Specifications for electrical works part-I internal, BOQ and as per instructions of EIC.
• Concealed PVC conduit wiring system shall be used.
• The Agency have to supply all materials including Ceiling fans, Light fittings, Distribution board, etc.
• Only NTPC's approved / ISI standard materials shall be used for execution of the work.
• Electrical work shall have to be carried out simultaneously with civil works.
• Defect liability period is 12 months from the date of completion.
