SALIENT TECHNICAL FEATURES
NTPC Talcher-Kaniha (TSTPS) plant is located in Kaniha block under Talcher sub-division of Angul district in the state of Orissa.
Nearest Town: Talcher 26 KMs
Nearest Railway Station: Talcher 29 KMs
Nearest Airport: Bhubaneswar 180 KMs
STAGE - I - 2 Units each 500 MW - Total 1000 MW
STAGE- II - 4 Units each 500 MW - Total 2000 MW
TECHNICAL FEATURES:
Ø Radiography will be executed inside plant area at any place like water wall, super heaters, repeaters, steam, water and other piping in steam generators and turbine, coal bunkers and other area as directed by the Engineer-in-charge during overhauling and breakdown of units.
Ø Deployment of 2 nos. BARC authorized / approved persons only with one of them having additional ASNT Level II qualification.
Ø The source IR- 192 and all other consumables like films, chemicals for developing process will be in the scope of contractor.
Ø The quality of radiographs and process has to confirm to standards specified in ASME Sec V.
Ø The agency must follow all the statutory radiation safety regulation as stipulated by BARC.
Ø Service period of contract is 12(Twelve) months.
