(ASH DISPOSAL PIPE LINE OF STAGE-I)

Sub : Maintenance of Ash Disposal, AWR/C pipe line and Dyke Sprinkling System of Stage-I (Out side plant boundary wall).

PLANT OVERVIEW

NTPC Talcher-kaniha (TSTPS) plant is located in Kaniha block under Talcher sub-division of Angul districts in the state of Odisha.

STAGE - I   - 2 Units each 500 MW - Total 1000 MW

EQUIPMENTS INVOLVED

There are four ash disposal series pipelines from Ash slurry pump house to Stage-I Ash dyke. The ash dyke of Stage-I is around 7KM from main plant. The equipments under consideration consist of four ash disposal series pipelines from plant boundary wall to stage-I ash dyke including periphery of ash dyke and each series is having   approximately 4.5km. of 400 NB MS pipeline.

JOBS IN BRIEF

In general the contract consists of miscellaneous minor maintenance, pipeline rotation, pipe replacement, and pipeline extension in ash dyke, welding joints, fabrication and erection of MS bends, replacement/repair of basalt pipes & bends, thickness measurement of pipeline and watch and ward of disposal pipelines. In addition to the above jobs, the contract also includes installation of sprinkler system, maintenance and removal of the system including watch and ward of the sprinkler system in ash dyke.
