CS-9571-132E(R)-2 dated 01/03/2014 is mentioned below. These Salient Technical Features are

mentioned only to facilitate the prospective bidder to prima-facie understand the requirements

under the tender and shall not in any way limit or alter the scope of work and technical

features/specification of equipment/system/services covered in the bidding documents. Detailed

provisions in regard of

scope of

work

and technical features/specification of

equipment/system/services covered in the bidding documents shall be final and binding.

The brief scope and technical features of the SUPPLY OF RAW WATER PIPE PACKAGE are as

follows:

Design, manufacture, application of external anti-corrosion coating of pipes by using 3 Layer Side

Extruded Polyethylene coating, inspection, at suppliers works, transportation to site (to the

locations as described in technical specification) unloading and stacking at designated locations.

The brief scope and technical features of the Supply of Raw Water Pipe Package are as follows:

1)

45000 meters (Forty five thousand meters) of carbon steel pipes of 900 mm (NB) diameter

size with external anti-corrosion coating by using 3 Layer Side Extruded Polyethylene

coating and 2000meters (two thousand meters) of carbon steel pipes of 900 mm (NB)

diameter size bare pipe (without 3LPE coating).

2)

57000 meters (Fifty Seven thousand meters) of carbon steel pipes of 1100 mm (NB)

diameter size with external anti-corrosion coating by using 3 Layer Side Extruded

Polyethylene coating and 3000 meters (Three thousand meters) of carbon steel pipes of

1100 mm (NB) diameter size bare pipe (without 3LPE coating).

3)

The design pressure of the piping system shall be 32 Kg/Sqcm (g) for 900 NB pipe and 10

Kg/Sqcm (g) for 1100 NB pipe.
