“Salient Technical Features of the equipment/systems/services covered in IFB No. CS-9571-318D(R)-9 dated 11.02.2014are mentioned below. These Salient Technical Features are mentioned only to facilitate the prospective bidders to prima-facie understand the requirements under the tender and shall not in any way limit or alter the scope of work and technical features/specification of equipment/ systems/ services covered in the Bidding Documents. Detailed provisions in regard of scope of work and technical features/specification of equipment/systems/services, contained in the Bidding Document shall be final and binding.”

Design, Engineering, Fabrication, Erection and construction of civil, structural and architectural works for intake pump house & associated system near submergence (reservoir) of Ujjani dam, intermediate tank outside plant boundary consisting of the following major structures:

a) Intake well (minimum internal diameter 7M) in the submergence of Ujjani Dam on Bhimariver,

b) Intake water pump house over the intake well,

c) Approach bridge (approximately 200 RM) along with the piers, abutments and pile foundation for connecting the intake water pump house to the reservoir bank,

d) Protection works using stone crates around intake well and pile foundation for approach bridge,

e) Intermediate Tank for raw water supply line

f) Geotechnical investigation in submergence of Ujjani Dam on Bhima river, switchgear & control room facilities area on reservoir bank and at intermediate tank location,

g) Model studies for intake water pump house,

h) Switchgear room, control room including battery room and transformer foundations on reservoir bank, including underground earthing& cable trenches,

i) Area filling and providing drains, slope protection works with stone riprap & stone crates etc. in the switchgear & control room facilities area on reservoir bank,

j) Stop logs, trash racks, lifting beams with electric hoists for intake well,

k) NP3 Hume pipe culverts for raw water pipe across village roads,

l) RCC encasement of raw water pipe at crossings across Sina river, nalla/drain etc.,

m) Boundary wall and gates in the switchgear & control room facilities area on reservoir bank,

n) Single lane approach road (approximately 500 RM) for access to switchgear facilities area & intermediate tank area from nearest available road and internal roads in switchgear facilities area.
