SALIENT TECHNICAL FEATURE

Sub: Annual civil maintenance contract for Stage-II Ash dyke of NTPC Limited, Talcher Kaniha (4X500 MW).

SALIENT TECHNICAL FEATURES:

Talcher Super Thermal Power Station is a Unit of NTPC, in Kaniha block under Talcher sub- division of Angul district of ODISHA.

Nearest Town : Talcher 26 KMs

Nearest Railway Station : Talcher 29 KMs

Nearest Airport : Bhubaneswar 180 KMs

INSTALLED CAPACITY

STAGE-I : 2 Units each 500 MW = Total 1000 MW

STAGE-II : 4 Units each 500 MW = Total 2000 MW

AREA : Stage # II Dyke land Area : 850 Acres approx.

TECHNICAL FEATURES :

Ø The contract is to be executed in Stage - II ash dyke areas of TSTPS.

Ø The contract is to be executed in scattered area surrounding dykes including all leads & lifts.

Ø Sometimes urgent works are to be taken up on short notice; agency should be ready all times with men and materials to execute the works in odd hours also.

Ø Main items in the BOQ: Labour supply, Earth work, Earth spreading on dry ash, Grass cutting, Making & laying of ash filled bags at different places of service lagoon etc.

Ø The work is to be executed on firm price basis without any escalation.

Ø Completion Period of work : 12 Months.
