FEATURES
“Salient
Technical Features of the equipment/systems/services covered in the IFB No.
CS-0360-318A(R2)-9 dated 11.01.2014 are mentioned
below. These Salient Technical features are mentioned only to facilitate the
prospective bidder to prima-facie understand the requirements under the tender
and shall not in any way limit or alter the scope of work and technical
features/specification of equipment/system/services covered in the bidding
documents. Detailed provisions in regard of scope of work and technical
features/specification of equipment/system/services covered in the bidding
documents shall be final and binding.”
FOR UNIT
A.
Civil, structural and architectural
works for CW System, Raw Water Pump house and laying of MuW
and effluent disposal pipelines including fabrication and erection of the
following major structures:
a)
CW pump house including maintenance
bay, Forebay, Transition etc.
b)
Station Auxiliary CW pump house
including maintenance bay, Forebay, etc.
c)
CW ducts from CW pump house to
transformer yard area and from transformer yard area to Cooling Towers, etc. (ducts
between transformer yard area and A-row are covered in Main plant and offsite
civil works package)
d)
Open CW RCC channel, etc.
e)
Raw water pump near reservoir including
maintenance bay, Common Sump, Valve Pits, switchgear room, control room
including battery room, transformer foundation, etc.
f)
Laying
of two nos. 900 dia make-up water pipe line including
cathodic protection from Make-up water pump house to
the raw water reservoir including road/rail/canal crossing. (29.25 km)
g)
Laying of effluent disposal pipe
including wrapping and coating from CMB to disposal point (2 km)

Design, Engineering, Fabrication,
Erection and construction of civil, structural and architectural works for MuW System near
Intake pump house outside plant boundary,
consisting of the following major structures:
a)
Intake well in the river Ganges, etc.
b)
Intake water pump house over the intake
well including maintenance area etc.
c)
Approach bridge along with the piers,
abutments and their foundations connecting the intake water pump house to the
river bank,
d)
River bank and river bed protection
works etc.
e)
Geotechnical investigation in river
Ganges,
f)
Model studies for intake water pump
house in intake well,
g)
Desilting
basin on the river bank,
h)
Make up water pump house on the
downstream of the desilting basin including
maintenance bay, etc.
i)
Silt flushing pump house and outlet
structure, etc.
j)
Switchgear room, control room including
battery room and Outdoor / VFD transformer foundations for Intake water pump
house, MuW Pump House, Silt flushing pump house etc.,
k)
Area filling along with the
road/drains, turfing, boundary wall, fencing, gate,
etc. in the make up water pump house area on the river bank.
l)
Stop logs, trash racks, lifting beams
with hoists for intake well, desilting basin, and Make-up
water pump house etc.
