1.0 NTPC Vidyut Vyapar Nigam Limited (NVVN) a wholly owned subsidiary of NTPC
Limited, invites Expression of Interest (EOI) from applicants for Export of fly ash/ fine
fly ash from NTPC coastal plants in southern and eastern region (India).
2.0 The purpose of inviting this EOI is to seek interest from APPLICANT for the Export of
fly ash from NTPC coastal power plant. This shall establish supply chain management
infrastructure viz. collection, processing, transportation etc. of the quality fly ash and
will create value addition for the entities involved.
3.0 After identifying the APPLICANTs through EOI, NVVN may come out with the detailed
tender (open/ limited).
4.0 Eligibility for Participation in EOI
4.1 Brick Manufacturer/ Block Manufacturer/ Tiles Manufacturer /Road construction
agencies/Cement Industries/ Other Industries/ Entrepreneurs/ Sole
Proprietorships / Partnerships / Limited Liability Partnerships / Consortium /
Cooperative Societies / Registered trust/ Government Agencies/Government
Companies of Foreign Countries /India (herein after called APPLICANT) having
GSTIN and PAN (in case of Indian entity) shall be eligible to participate in EOI.
4.2 The APPLICANT should be of minimum 21 years of age (in case of individual
APPLICANT).

1.0 INTRODUCTION
NTPC Vidyut Vyapar Nigam Ltd. (NVVN) is a wholly owned subsidiary of NTPC Limited, India’s
largest power producer. NVVN was established with the objective of carrying out the business
of Purchase / Sale of all forms of electrical power from SEBs, Power Distribution Companies,
other organizations and bulk power consumers etc., in India and abroad. NVVN is the only PSU
specializing in power trading business, and, as per the latest CERC regulation, we hold the
highest category ‘I’ trading license. We have also been designated as Nodal Agency by Govt
of India for implementation of grid connected Solar Power Projects under Jawaharlal Nehru
National Solar Mission (Phase-I). Under the scheme, 733 MW solar capacity comprising of 70
different Projects has been commissioned till date by Solar Power Developers selected through
a transparent bidding process.
NVVN is exploring the possibilities for exporting fly ash/ fine fly ash from NTPC coastal plants
in southern and eastern region in India. Therefore, NVVN invites Expression of Interest (EOI)
from Brick Manufacturer/ Block Manufacturer / Tiles Manufacturer /Road construction
agencies/Cement Industries/ Other Industries/ Entrepreneurs/ Sole Proprietorships /
Partnerships / Limited Liability Partnerships / Consortium / Cooperative Societies /
Registered trust/ Government Agencies/Government Companies (herein after called
APPLICANT)
2.0 APPLICATION OF EOI:-
The application of EOI is given in section-III of this document which comprises of the
following:
A) Form of Application:
The Application Form shall indicate willingness of APPLICANT to participate in the
RFP/ forthcoming tendering process, as and when NVVN invites the same. The
Application Form shall be submitted on the letter head of the company.
B) Annexures:
Following are the annexures required to be filled and submitted by APPLICANT

Instructions to APPLICANTs
➢ Applicant should note that this is Expression of Interest (EOI) to enlist interested parties
and prepare them for future tendering process for Export of fly ash from NTPC power
plant. Applicant should be sure that it is not the tender/bid invitation.
➢ For expression of interest, Application Form and Annexures given in Section-III shall be
duly filled and sent to NVVN by the APPLICANT in soft copy.
➢ Applicants should go through Section-I and Section-II thoroughly before filling and
submitting the application.
➢ Applicants may submit EOI for Export of Fly ash from the following NTPC plants:
a) NTPC Simhadri Plant, India
b) NTPC/NTECL Vallur Plant, India
c) NTPC Talchar Plant, India

following information without which EOI shall be rejected:
