5.0 Brief Scope of Work:
NUMERICAL RELAYS FOR NTPC TSTPS KANIHA
6.0 Issuance of Bidding Documents to any bidder shall not construe that bidder is considered qualified.
7.0 NTPC reserves the right to reject any or all bids or cancel/withdraw the NIT for the subject package
without assigning any reason whatsoever and in such case no bidder/intending bidder shall have any
claim arising out of such action.
8.0 Qualifying Requirements for Bidders:
The Bidders who wish to participate in the bidding process shall satisfactorily establish that they fulfil the
Qualifying Requirements as stipulated here under:
8.1 TECHNICAL CRITERIA
8.1.1 The Numerical Relay shall be offered from a manufacturer who has manufactured and supplied and
successfully configured at least hundred (100) No’s of Numerical Relays with IEC 61850 used for application in
Feeder Protections/Transformer Protections/Motor protections. These relays should have been in successful
operation for at least one (1) year prior to the date as on last date of the month preceding the month of
publication of NIT.
8.1.2 The Bidder should have executed/completed similar orders during the last seven (7) years, as on last
date of the month preceding the month of publication of NIT, having minimum order values as indicated below:
a) One order of value not less than Rs.567.89 Lakh,
OR
b) Two orders, each of value not less than Rs.354.93 Lakh,
OR
c) Three orders, each of value not less than Rs.283.94 Lakh
Similar order Means: supply of numerical relays for ‘HT/LT’ Switchgear / Feeder Protections / Transformer
Protections / Motor protections.
Note:
i. The word “executed/completed” means the bidder should have achieved the criteria specified in
the clause no 8.1.2 of QR, even if the total order is not completed/closed. In case any order is
under execution as on last date of the month preceding the month of publication of NIT, the value
of supply executed against such order till such date will be considered provided the same is
