1.0 NTPC Limited (hereinafter referred to as NTPC or the Owner) have requirement of Balance

Electrical works of NTPC Kudgi STPP .

2.0 NTPC invites online bids on Single Stage Two Envelope bidding basis (Envelope-I: Techno-

Commercial Bid & Envelope-II: Price Bid) from eligible bidders for aforesaid Package, as per the

Scope of Work mentioned hereinafter.

3.0 NTPC intends to finance the subject package through Own Resources.

4.0 Detailed specifications, scope of work and terms & conditions are given in the bidding documents,

which are available for examination and sale at the address given at para 11.0 below and online in

our tendering portal as per the following schedule:

Date & Time for opening of Price Bids shall be intimated separately to the bidders whose Techno-

Commercial Bid are found to be acceptable.

5.0 All bids must be accompanied by Bid Security for an amount equivalent INR 5,00,000/- (Indian

Rupees Five Lakhs only)

The Bid Security may be paid through online before the stipulated bid submission closing date and

time. In case of Bank Guarantee, the Original BG shall be submitted in a separate sealed envelope

before the stipulated bid submission closing date and time. In case acceptable Bid Security in a

separate sealed envelope is not received or paid through online, as the case may be,

then online Bid shall be rejected by Owner as being non-responsive and shall not be

opened.

Bidder should pay the cost of bidding documents through online only before the stipulated

bid submission closing date and time.

In case acceptable Bid Security and cost of bidding documents is not paid through

online or in case of physical form of Bank Guarantee in lieu of Bid Security in a separate

sealed envelope is not received before the stipulated bid submission closing date and

time then online Bid shall be rejected by Owner as being non-responsive and shall not

be opened.

Tender Fee and Bid Security exemptions shall not be applicable for any MSE registration

certificate (DIC, Udyog Aadhar, NSIC, KVIC etc.).

6.0 QUALIFYING REQUIREMENT FOR BIDDERS

In addition to satisfactory fulfilment of the Qualifying requirements stipulated in Section ITB

(Instructions to Bidders) of Bid documents, the following shall also apply:

The Bidders who wish to participate in the bidding shall satisfactorily establish that they fulfil the

Qualifying Requirements stipulated hereunder:

6.1) Technical Criteria

6.1.1 The bidder should have executed at least one contract having the following works in past

seven (7) years as on the date of techno-commercial bid opening:

i) Installation / testing/ commissioning of electrical panels / busduct of 6.6kv grade or

above.

ii) Installation / commissioning of station lighting works

iii) Installation/ termination/ commissioning of power cables of 6.6kv grade or higher

grade and installation of cable trays /earthing works

iv) Installation/ termination/ commissioning control cables of not less than 1.1 kv and

installation of cable trays/earthing works

6.1.2 The bidder should have successfully executed contracts for the above works for the

following contract values in the past seven (07) years as on the date of techno-commercial

bid opening:

a) Single Executed/Completed Contract Value of not less than Rs. 244 Lakhs.

b) Two Executed/Completed contracts of each having value not less than Rs.153 Lakhs

c) Three Executed/Completed contracts of each having value not less than Rs.122

Lakhs.

6.2) Financial Criteria:

6.2.1) The average annual turnover of the Bidder, in the preceding three (3) financial years as on

31.03.2019 shall not be less than Rs.203.45 lakhs (Rupees Two Hundred Three Lakhs and

forty-five thousand only) .

The Bidder has to furnish audited financial statements in support of turnover. If audited

results for the preceding financial year are not available, certification of financial statements

from a practicing Chartered Accountant shall also be considered acceptable. In case the

Bidder is not able to submit the Certificate from practicing Chartered Accountant certifying

its financial parameters, the audited results of three consecutive financial years preceding

the last financial year has to be furnished.

NOTES:

Other income shall not be considered for arriving at annual turnover

the QR even if the total contract is not completed/closed. Bidder to submit copies of work

order/purchase order giving details of work executed and user certificate for performance. If

user certificate is not available, then proof of execution in terms of payment/delivery challan

/ Invoice etc. to be provided.

7.0 NTPC reserves the right to reject any or all bids or cancel/withdraw the Invitation for Bids without

assigning any reason whatsoever and in such case no bidder / intending bidder shall have any claim

arising out of such action.

8.0 Prospective bidders from Uttar Pradesh (U.P) State, India are compulsorily required to provide TIN

number at the time of purchase of bidding documents from Office of NTPC.

9.0 A complete set of Bidding Documents may be downloaded by any interested Bidder upon login in e

tender website (http://eprocurentpc.nic.in/nicgep/app)

10.0 Issuance of bidding documents to any bidder shall not construe that such bidder is considered to be

qualified. Bids shall be submitted online and opened at the address given below.
