Annexure-1

Issue of Fly Ash in Rail Wagons from NTPC Mouda Ash Silos

EOI No. MSTPS/AU-1/Fly Ash/ 2020 Date: 06.06.2020

NTPC Mouda having a generation capacity of 2320 MW (expected ash generation- 25LMT/year) ,

intends to facilitate issue of Fly ash from its Fly ash Silos through rail wagons by : (i) 1 Ton/50 KG Jumbo

bags in BCN Wagons (ii) Direct BOXN wagon loading and covered through tarpaulin (iii) Direct ash

loading in suitable BTPN wagon of End Users/Traders. In order to access the demand quantity of such Fly

ash, NTPC Mouda invites Expression of Interest (EoI) from interested End Users/Ash Traders in the

prescribed format for receiving fly ash in bulk quantity through above mentioned three modes. Fly ash

will be issued on price discovered through E-auction/Bidding mode. ● How to apply: Interested parties

are requested to submit their requirement in the specified format by 17:00 hrs. of 21.06.2020.

Annexure -2

General Information

NTPC Mouda intends to facilitate bulk issue of fly ash from its Fly Ash Silos. The fly

ash shall be issued through following 3 methods :

1. Through BCN Rail wagons by packing fly ash in 1 Ton/50 KG Jumbo bags.

2. Through BOXN Wagons by directly filling through Ash Silos and covering through

good quality Tarpaulin.

3. Through suitable BTPN wagons deployed by Cement Industries/ End Ash Users/

Other Ash traders for ash transportation by direct filling ash into the wagons

through Silos.

Bulk issue of fly ash from NTPC Mouda Fly ash Silos through rail wagons in above

three modes will be cost effective, reduced pollution due to less number of bulker

movement at loading/ unloading points and thus environment friendly.

Fly Ash shall be issued to End Ash Users/Ash Traders for utilization of Fly Ash in its

various applications.

Interested End Ash Users/Ash Traders ready to receive fly ash from NTPC Mouda

Ash Silo through rail wagons packed in 1 Ton/50 KG Jumbo Bags or through

Tarpaulin covered BOXN Wagons or through users’ BTPN wagons, may submit

their Expression of Interest duly filled in the standard format (Annexure-3) to the

address mentioned below on or

Before 17:00 hrs. of 21 June , 2020.
