3.0 Bid Security/EMD, in original, for the requisite amount as stipulated above shall be submitted prior

to stipulated bid submission, closing date and time at the address given herein below. If Bid Security

in hard copy, in a separate sealed cover is not received or bids for which Bid Security of

inadequate value is received the same shall not be entertained and in such cases bids shall not

be opened. Online option also available. Please refer bid document.

4.0 NTPC reserves the right to reject any or all bids or cancel/withdraw the invitation for bids/IFB

without assigning any reason whatsoever and in such case no bidder/intending bidder shall have

claim arising out of such action.

5.0 A complete set of Bidding Documents may be downloaded by any interested Bidder on payment

(non-refundable) of the cost of the documents as mentioned at 2.0 above in the form of a crossed

account Payee Demand Draft in favour of NTPC Ltd., Payable at SBI, NTPC Campus Branch, Br

Code – 10085. Online option also available. Please refer bid document.

The detailed scope of work is given in the Bidding Documents which are available at our GePNIC site

as per the schedule given above.

7.0

Qualifying Requirements of Bidders:

In addition to requirements stipulated under Section "Instructions to

Bidders"(ITB), the Bidder shall also meet the Qualifying Requirements

stipulated hereunder:

FOR Supply, Installation and Commissioning of QUICK ERECT

SCAFFOLDING FOR 250 MW BOILER OF NTPC-BARAUNI:

1.0

The bidder should have executed “Supply of Quick Erect Scaffolding” suitable for

250 MW Boiler or higher size / any other vertical structure of min 60 mtr. Or

more Height during preceding seven (07) years prior to the date of Techno-commercial

bid opening, as per any of the following criteria:

Three Executed Order valuing not less than

. 34.16 lakh each

Two Executed Order valuing not less than

. 42.70 lakh each

Single Executed Order valuing not less than

Rs. 68.32 lakh

Turn Over: The average annual turnover of the Bidder, in the preceding three (03)

consecutive financial years as on the date of Techno-Commercial bid opening, should

not be less than Rs. 85.40 lakh (INR Eighty-Five Lakh and Forty Thousand only)..

Note: I.In case the bidder is not able to furnish its audited financial statements on stand-

alone entity basis, the unaudited unconsolidated financial statements of the bidder can be

considered acceptable provided the bidder further furnishes the following documents for

substantiation of its qualification:

i) Copies of the unaudited unconsolidated financial statements of the bidder along with

copies of the audited consolidated financial statements of the Holding Company.

ii) A certificate from the CEO/CFO of the Holding Company, as per the format enclosed in

the bidding documents, stating that the unaudited unconsolidated financial statements form

part of the consolidated financial statements of the Holding Company. In cases where audited

results for the last financial year as on the date of Techno commercial bid opening are not

available, the financial results certified by a practicing Chartered Accountant shall be

considered acceptable. In case the Bidder is notable to submit the Certificate from a practicing

Chartered Accountant certifying its financial parameters, the audited results of three

consecutive financial years preceding the last financial year shall be considered for

evaluating the financial parameters. Further, a Certificate would be required from the

CEO/CFO as per the format enclosed in the bidding documents stating that the financial results

of the Company are under audit as on the date of Techno-Commercial bid opening and

the Certificate from the practicing Chartered Accountant certifying the financial parameters is

not available.

II. “Other income” shall not be considered for arriving at annual turnover figures.

III. “Holding Company” and “Subsidiary Company” shall have the meaning ascribed to them as per

Companies Act of India.

In cases where audited results for the last financial year as on the date of the Techno- Commercial

Bid opening are not available, the financial results certified by a practicing Chartered Accountant

shall be considered acceptable.

2.1

In case Bidder is not able to submit the certificate from practicing Chartered Accountant

certifying its financial parameters, the audited results of three consecutive financial years

preceding the last financial year shall be considered for evaluating the financial parameters.

Further, a Certificate would be required from the CEO/CFO as per the format enclosed in the

bidding documents stating that the financial results of the Company are under audit as on the

date of Techno-Commercial bid opening and the Certificate from the practicing Chartered

Accountant certifying that financial parameters is not available

Note:-

(A).

In clause 1.0 above, the word “executed” means the bidder should have achieved the

criteria specified in the qualifying requirements, within the preceding seven (7) years period,

even if the contract has been started earlier and /or is not completed / closed.

i). Bidder must submit requisite credentials in support of having met the

qualifying requirement. A summary sheet of all documents need to be

submitted along with the technical offer. Summary Sheet should clearly

describe the eligibility credentials. Credentials may include:

Purchase order/ work order copies.
