NOTICE INVITING TENDER (DOMESTIC COMPETITIVE BIDDING)

KBUNL Kanti invites sealed bids/tenders/offers on Two Part Bidding basis for Muzaffarpur Thermal Power Station, from eligible bidders who fulfill the qualifying requirements stipulated below:

Part (A) QUALIFYING REQUIREMENT:

1.The bidder should be either a manufacturer of Zinc Sulphate / Phosphonobutane tricarboxylic Acid (PBTC) / Biodiapersant / Hydroxy Ethylidine 1-1 Diphosphonic Acid (HEDP)/TER-Polymer Dispersant/ Co-polymer Dispersant /Benzotriazole (BTA)/Non Oxidizing biocide solution.

OR

An authorised dealer/distributor/channel partner of any of the manufacturers of any of the above chemical.

2.The Bidder should have successfully executed purchase orders for supply of above chemicals during last seven (07) years ending last day of the month previous to the date of NIT with following executed value(s) of contract(s).

I. Three executed/completed contracts of cost not less than Rs 46.29 lakh each.

OR

II.Two executed/completed contracts of cost not less than Rs 57.87 lakh each.

OR

III.One executed/completed contracts of cost not less than Rs 92.59 lakh each.

3.The Average annual financial turnover of the bidder during last three (03) financial years ending with financial year 2019-20 should not be less than Rs. 1.16 Crore.

NOTE: The word executed means that the bidder should have achieved the progress specified in the qualifying Requirement even of the total contract is not completed / closed.

PART (B) GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS:

∙Eligible bidders may submit their bid as per following procedure:

∙Tender fee & EMD, if applicable to be submitted by the bidder separately.

∙The Demand Draft should be drawn in favour of Kanti Bijlee Utpadan Nigam Ltd. payable at SBI, TPS,

Kanti Thermal, Muzaffarpur Bihar (code 7033).

∙Complete bid to be submitted within prescribed time as indicated in bid document.

∙The General Purchase Condition of KBUNLwill be the integral part of the tender document.

∙The documents are required to be submitted in support of meeting the Qualifying Requirements, as mentioned above apart from those Specified in Bid documents:

∙Documentary evidence in support of meeting the qualifying requirements stipulated above which inter alia should include experience of execution of works as specified in QR with self-certified and stamped copies of Work Orders/ Award Letters, certificate stating that the work order given in support of qualifying requirements has been completed or completion certificate or proof of execution of awarded work.

∙Latest audited annual report, Proof of Turnover/Balance Sheet duly certified by practicing Chartered Accountant.

∙Copy of valid PAN &GSTIN registration certificate.

∙Notwithstanding anything stated above, KBUNL reserves the right to assess the bidder’s capability and capacity to perform the contract/order, should the circumstances warrant such an assessment in the overall interest of KBUNL and the decision of KBUNL in this regard shall be final and binding.
