A.NTPC Limited, Shared Services Center - Southern Region, Simhadri Super Thermal Power Station, Visakhapatnam- 531020 invites bids Single Stage Two Envelope bidding basis (Envelope-I: Techno-Commercial Bid & Envelope-II: Price Bid) from eligible bidders for the contract with following details:

D.NTPC reserves the right to reject any or all bids or cancel / withdraw the Invitation For Bids (IFB) without assigning any reason whatsoever and in such case no bidder / intending bidder shall have any claim arising out of such action.

ANNEXURE-1

Qualifying Requirements

In addition to satisfactory fulfilment of the Qualifying requirements stipulated in Section– ITB (Instructions to Bidders) of Bid documents, the following shall also apply:

1.0Technical Criteria:

1.1The bidder should have executed “Supply and application of PU coating of minimum 2000 microns thickness in any Industry” in the preceding seven(07) years, reckoned as on the date of scheduled techno- commercial bid opening. The bidder should furnish at least one (01) work order, which includes this criteria.

1.2The bidder should have executed “Supply & application of Poly Urethane (PU) coating on piping / structures in any industry” in the preceding seven(07) years reckoned as on the date of scheduled techno-commercial bid opening with executed contract value(s) as below:

Single order with executed value not less than Rs. 134.35 lakhs

OR

Two orders with executed values not less than Rs.83.97 lakhs each

OR

Three orders with executed values not less than Rs.67.18 lakhs each

2.0Financial Criteria:

2.1The average annual turnover of the bidder, in the preceding three(03) financial years as on the date of scheduled techno- commercial bid opening shall not be less than Rs. 167.94 Lakhs (Rupees One hundred sixty seven lakh and ninety four thousand only).

3.0Notes:

a)In case where audited results for the last financial year as on the date of technical bid opening are not available, the financial results certified by a practicing Chartered Accountant shall be considered acceptable. In case, Bidder is not able to submit the Certificate from practicing Chartered Accountant certifying its financial parameters, the audited results of three consecutive financial years preceding the last financial year shall be considered for evaluating the financial parameters. Further, a certificate would be required from the CEO/CFO/Proprietor/Partner that the financial results of the Company are under audit as on the date of technical bid opening and the certificate from practicing Chartered Accountant certifying the financial parameters is not available.

b)For the purpose of arriving at the executed value of work specified at 1.2 above, basic amount only shall be considered. In case of a contract inclusive of Taxes, agency has to provide the break-up of basic value and tax.

c)Other income shall not be considered for arriving at annual turnover.

d)The value of the work completed in the preceding seven (07) years reckoned as on date of techno-commercial bid opening, even if it has been started earlier, will only be considered for establishing the qualifying requirements.

e)The word “executed” means; bidder should have achieved the criteria specified in above QR even if the total contract is not completed / closed.

f)The bidder should submit the documentary proof for establishing the QR requirements at 1.0 and 2.0 above.
