6.1.3 The bidder should be a manufacturer of grinding rings and balls of Hi-chrome or higher grade
composition for E-type coal pulverizes and should have supplied at least 4 (four) set of grinding rings
and balls with satisfactory running performance of 7000 running hrs for grinding rings & also for
grinding balls (as a set or separately) for E type coal pulverizes and should have an ongoing
collaboration/license agreement with a manufacturer who meets the qualifying requirements as
stipulated at clause 6.1.2(a) above. In such a case, bidder along with his collaborator/ licenser shall
furnish a Deedof Joint Undertaking (DJU) for successful performance of grinding elements offered
by him. The joint deed(s) of undertaking shall be submitted along with the bid, failingwhich the bidder
shall be disqualified and his bid shall be rejected. In case of award,the collaborator/ licenser will be
required to furnish on demand, Bank Guarantee for 1.5% of the total contract price in addition to the
contract performance security to be furnished by the bidder.
Further bidder should have manufacturing and testing facilities as per clause 6.1.2(b) above and shall
offer Hi-chrome or higher grade grinding rings and balls for which agency or his collaborator/ licenser
is qualified.
6.1.4 The bidder should have manufactured and supplied E- type Coal pulverizes or Hichrome
grinding rings and/or Hi-chrome hollow grinding balls or higher grade grinding elements for E- type
coal pulverizes during last seven (07) years reckoned as on last date of the month preceding the month
of publication of NIT, having minimum order values as indicated below:
(i) single order of value not less than Rs 169.32 Lakh
OR
(ii) Two orders, each of value not less than Rs 105.83 Lakh
OR
(iii) Three orders, each of value not less than Rs 84.66 Lakh
Notes:
(a) Both the top and bottom rings along with the balls are to be construed as operating
as one (1) set.
(b) "Higher grade" as mentioned above means materials with higher hardness, better
chemical composition & micro-structure and superior heat treatment.
6.2 FINANCIAL CRITERIA
6.2.1 The average annual turnover of the bidder, in the preceding three (3) financial years as
on the date of Techno commercial bid opening, shall not be less than Rs.211.65 Lakh
(Two Hundred Eleven Lakh Sixty Five Thousand only).
6.3 NOTES :
i. The work (supplied/executed) means that the bidder should have achieved the specified QR at para
6.1 of QR even if total contract is not completed. In case any order is under execution as on last date of
the month preceding the month of publication of NIT, the value of supply executed against such order
till such date will be considered provided the same is certified by the Owner/Project
ii. Other income shall not be considered for arriving at annual turnover as specified in QR Clause 6.2.1.
